i think TenHag is trying to do what he did with Harry Maguire. Only let Cr7 at the starting line up every match that they seem to lose just to have good reason to never use them again.

You don't just go from 18 goals one season, or however many he score, to all of a sudden strongly considering retirement the following season. There's usually some tapering off as a player gets older. Ronaldo hasn't shown that. He has been a fairly consistent goalscorer, season after season. His lack of a pre-season and the fact he wanted to leave the club has pushed him down the pecking order. This performance has done nothing to make Ten Hag reconsider him.

@gincka CR was decent in Juve and he was taking most of the freekicks, always wasting them. Hell, he did it in Real and he does it in the national team despite the fact he's bad at it. It's not only Ten Hag, it's every manager of CR ever. And why is that? Nobody knows. The funny part is he was very good at freekicks when he was playing under sir Alex. Then he just stopped being good.

We've seen blatantly wrong decisions in the Premier League where Aston Villa, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool have all suffered, and that list is not exhaustive - now it extends to European games. Something needs to happen at this point because it's borderline match-fixing.
