Spain vs Netherlands Team News

Pau Cubarsi was forced off in the first half against Netherlands on Thursday night, and his unavailability means Dean Huijsen is expected to feature from the outset in Spain. Mikel Merino come off the bench to net a late equaliser in the 2-2 first leg draw and should be rewarded with a place in the starting XI. Ayoze Perez is another that may start this weekend.

Jorrel Hato is suspended after his second half red card against Spain on Thursday night, with Lutsharel Geertruida potentially switching over to left-back and Jeremie Frimpong dropping into right-back. Ronald Koeman may also make another change in midfield with the possibility that Teun Koopmeiners starts in place of Frenkie de Jong. Xavi Simons might feature off the right flank on Sunday.

Spain vs Netherlands Score Prediction

Spain left it late to rescue a result in the Netherlands on Thursday, and it wasn't until the Oranje were reduced to 10 men that they bagged the equaliser. La Roja were superb at home in their group stage campaign, winning every game and conceding just twice. Netherlands came from behind to go ahead against Spain on Thursday but will feel aggrieved they were unable to see out the win. Ronald Koeman's side also failed to win their three away matches in the group stages, drawing twice.

After leaving it late in the Netherlands on Thursday, Spain should get the job done on Sunday.
