Team News

  • Domingos Duarte could feature off the bench tomorrow night against Atleti but is still flagged as a doubt with a shoulder problem.
  • Jaime Mata should continue up top - Jose Bordalas and his staff will have to rack their brains this summer in finding a suitable replacement as the Spaniard will leave at the end of the season.
  • Nahuel Molina is out with a hamstring injury. Cesar Azpilicueta played well against Celta and should continue on the right flank.
  • Samuel Lino only played a handful of minutes last week and should be fresh to start on the left.
  • Angel Correa should start alongside Antoine Griezmann.

  • In the final Madrid derby of the La Liga season, Getafe welcome Atletico Madrid to the south of the city in aims to take the bragging rights with them into the summer. The reverse fixture was a corker of a match, ending 3-3 at the Civitas. A victory for Getafe could keep their hopes of finishing 8th or 9th alive behind Villarreal and Valencia.
  • Atleti can guarantee themselves Champions League football next season if they were to win and Athletic Club drop points. Simeone will be keeping his starting eleven very disciplined, though the defence has been shaky on the road this season. The visitors will be confident though that they can record their fourth consecutive victory tomorrow night.
  • This one may not be as exciting as the reverse fixture, but with a home crowd behind Getafe, they certainly play with more gusto in front of goal.
