To be honest, I feel bad for both top teams, seeing their wasted performance, poor attacking, that proved one own goal from Real Madrid isn’t enough to conclude one word to describe this match.
@DanInter If someone has said to me, "Real Madrid 1, Barcelona 0", I might have believed them. I was following it on the Bet365 and it said that Real didn't even have one shot on target! Really !?!
@RichieRochdale TBH neither team did. Barca has 1 shot on target on some sites, but that was basically the blocked shot that resulted in the own goal. So technically 0 shots hit the target cleanly. Beside losing some money, I was more frustrated with how bad this game was.
Barca plays like a third-rate team. All they do is defend. Ferran Torres is such a waste, completely invisible, and they subbed Raphinha out. What is Xavi doing?
@RichieRochdale Well, I didn't want to punk out on you before the match starts, guys. I put £100 on BTTS with Bet365 at odds of 1.90. Thank you everyone, particularly, DanInter who advised me not to do it.
@RichieRochdale Few factors to consider when betting on BTTS in general, not just this match: (odds, goal scoring tendency for away/home respectably, any missing players, importance of match - what competition, history)
-odds: Pretty even, bookies seem unsure themselves. If you check individually, they think Madrid is likely to score (@1.20) but they are less sure on Barca (@1.53). This has to do with Barca missing key players (especially Lewa), their dip in form, Madrid stronger form, Madrid rarely going goal-less.
-As mentioned Madrid rarely misses the net, only happened twice this season. Barca while rarely goes 0 themselves (happened 3 times away from home), they do tend to have a lot of matches where they only scored 1 goal. If you combine this fact with the key players missing, being this one of those matches can become a very real possibility.
-competition/importance of match doesn't really matter, both team will field their strongest available line up.
@Julius90 Thanks so much, Julius. I'm sorry that I didn't give you my Double prediction, today. I had Cluj (Romanian top division) to Win and Yokohama F Marino's (Japanese top division) to Win, tomorrow. So sorry, mate, Cluj already won.
@RichieRochdale
-Lastly, historically these teams tend to go BTTS, but with the other factors mentioned, I wouldn't consider this a safe bet.
Personally if I were to bet on this match, I would take the over 1.5 goals (@1.30) as I think that accounts for both an even game, and also Madrid dominating given the two teams current form, and if you don't like low odds, then compbine it with something super safe from another match or two (like Napoli to score @1.14 vs Lazio).
I know most "professional bettors" dislike accumulator betting, but if you don't over do it (2-3 at max) then it can be a reasonably safe bet at decent odds.
@DanInter WOW, I really wasn't expecting that level of advice! Thank you so, so much for taking the time, I really don't know what to say---? Do you run a Subscription Service, Dan? Thanks again, very informative and you certainly know your stuff! Impressed.
@RichieRochdale
Not really lol. Just tend to share my 2 cents on matches that I find interesting. I keep betting as a side hobby, but trying to keep it as rational as possible, ie. avoiding unsure bets like the BTTS here.
@betwithme 40 bucks. Also brilliant deduction by you. Two person agreeing on the internet with thousands of people visiting the site day by day, must be the same person. Especially that we literally had the opposite view on the topic lol.
Confirmado! Barcelona no podrá fichar nuevos jugadores en el mercado de verano por sus problemas financieros. Swallow this!
I'm sure liverpool will beat this rm in the 2nd leg.. not by 3 goals tho.
This is exactly what a normal Super League match would look like.
To be honest, I feel bad for both top teams, seeing their wasted performance, poor attacking, that proved one own goal from Real Madrid isn’t enough to conclude one word to describe this match.
An old Chelsea reject LB playing as CB.....embarrassing!!!
Rubbish match, la liga has fallen far behind the Premier League
Real can't even score against a team missing their best players that is out of Europa League at the Bernabeu, kinda embarrassing.
I never knew barca looked at atletico game and thought, Lets play like atletico - Barca were scared shit out
@betwithme Yeah, they also have to say thank you to their faithful servant José Luis Munuera Montero.
Football's a funny, old game, :(
@RichieRochdale shame, didn't expect such a low quality game from both teams. Rarely any shot on targets, an own goal only.
@DanInter If someone has said to me, "Real Madrid 1, Barcelona 0", I might have believed them. I was following it on the Bet365 and it said that Real didn't even have one shot on target! Really !?!

guys, where I can see how many successful dribbles vinisius having today?

@RichieRochdale Well you almost there now, Barca hitting 1st is massive. :)
@DanInter Cheers, Dan, but I still need Real to score before I start jumping up and down, lol.
Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona
Would really value some of your expert opinion guys before I stick a load of cash on this- BTTS? Yes or No? I'm thinking Yes. Cheers, Simo.

@RichieRochdale £100 down the toilet.
@Chancho That's gambling.
@RichieRochdale Your money is gone. 100pounds Wow.
@Ceo Tell me about it, bro, :( :( :(
@RichieRochdale 100% Si
@Truther You know, despite the fact that it's a risky bet, I do think it's a BTTS match.

@DanInter Barcelona will definitely get a goal but cannot win this match. So am going in for Home win and Btts

Also sorry for formatting, hard to keep it clean when typing a lot on this site.

@DanInter You should really think about setting one up, Dan. You'll make more money than the actual betting, mate! Superb analysis! Bravo!
@RichieRochdale @DanInter - How much you guys lost ? It looks like one person is using two accounts for adding credibility to their comments - LOL
@betwithme 40 bucks. Also brilliant deduction by you. Two person agreeing on the internet with thousands of people visiting the site day by day, must be the same person. Especially that we literally had the opposite view on the topic lol.
@betwithme And, also, I think that Dan's analysis was pretty much spot-on!
@betwithme No, I actually did just lose £100
@RichieRochdale I lost 300 dollars how about that
@betwithme I do feel like something of a fraud as I had a big win, yesterday. Man, $300---. Pisser.
Why can't this match be seen on the front page FFS?
@Sputnik WhoScored doesn't carry CdL stats it seems
@Sputnik Two small clubs.
@Oversonly You are from the USA, you comments about football don't matter.
