@betwithme why does everything always have to be so underrated? I cannot stand that goddamn word! Nothing is underrated! Never use that word again! Thank you.
@hughcross The goal is an error from the keeper. Since it's a ball from wingback to wingback he has the time and the space to position himself. He offers too much space, and he is too slow when he goes down. Classical Donnarumma in my opinion: bad positioning and bad technique.
@Sputnik you seem to think he's on the touchline with a playstation controller playing the game. The manager had nothing to do with them losing. The better team won. It's that's simple.
@Chancho Whenever a team loses, it's always the coach's fault. He picks the players to start the game, he does the tactics and the substitutions. End of.
@Sputnik Don't know, maybe that's the best Paris can play without Mbappe. If he would have chosen different tactics Bayern probably would have scored more goals ...
@neumi17 Without a striker, you mean. Any striker. But he didn't even use the False 9 tactic. I don't even know what his weird formation was, it wasn't really 4-4-2. Apparently, his game plan was "hold 0:0 until the break, bring Mbappe on, score 1 goal on the counter, protect the lead". But since Bayern managed to score before Mbappe came on, it all went South pretty quickly. Maybe he isn't as good a coach as French media claimed him to be.
I swear Neymar is just tanking. Bayern should have got one but Ramos is leading that back line successfully so far. Gotta see Gnabry coming in for Sane. Maybe Muller as well but he rarely takes Musiala off.
Both teams lack top forwards up front: Bayern sold Lewa, while Mbappe is on the bench. The 2 goalkeepers are capable to produce a low scoring game under these circumstances....
@neumi17 There would have been chances for Bayern if they had a proper #9 with good positional sense. A lot of times there was sb in the box missing, no one was making the run or PSG def had it too easy. They started the season without a #9, just to find out they play much better with one, even if it's 'just' Choupo. They just screwed up / were too cheap.
I've got to favor Bayern here. Coman has got to start given his recent form. Can talk about the players all day even in Paris I favor the deeper more in form squad. Muller up front isn't ideal but the boys behind him are capable of finishing.
MNM sounds like a cheat code but due to psgs performances in reality and most importantly poor defense, bayern are seen as clear favorites in this tie. however, their attacking style, much like the last time these sides met, favors psg counterattacks. also not quite the same bayern as back then, but they do have better attackers playing. psg advance only if the attackers really shine and make the best of their chances, (can really see messi create chances for mbappe in behind bayern advanced line), cuz its guaranteed bayern will score like 2 goals in each leg vs this psg defense. with current (worse) psg & bayern i really cant see it being a tight game like they managed in the ucl final, more like the more recent matchup. the midfield battle is hard to call, bayern are a machine but psg have players that can play around the press - veratti & vitinha + messi & neymar dropping deep, and they can still create with counters with balls to mbappe so its not an instant loss. I say 1-2 here
@Icarax well mbappe got injured, neymar will miss it aswell. So that plan goes out the window. Whos messi gonna pass to, soler and ekitike? 1-3 and 1-5 agg
Unlucky for PSG. Bayern are just too good. I'd love to see Man City get battered by them.
Kimmich had to be the most technical and underrated midfielder, Crazy how he and goretzka controlled the tempo.

Bayern dominates the midfield
Donnarumma's 7.6 tells you all you need to know about this rating system.
@BeautifulLoser i didn't watch the match, but saving 6 out of 7 shots on target seems good on paper. What is off?

Cristophe Galtier failed miserably with his tactics tonight.

Nuno Mendes man of the match.

@FootyFiyah Paris swap to a back 3 with Kimpembe, Bayern to a back 4 with Davies in for Cancelo. Strange.

@Zoltan That has nothing to do with missing forwards ! Neither team is creating any chances, that is the key point here !

@FootyFiyah It's all about Coman I haven't been shouting his name for 3 weeks for nothing!

@Icarax Neymar will play. Mbappe and Messi are doubtful.
