- Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell named just one change to the Steelmen side that nicked a 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, before they beat Ross County 2-0 in Dingwall in their last league match.
- Callum Slattery, whose cracking free-kick rescued a point in Ayrshire, replaced Dean Cornelius in the middle of the park and partnered Sean Goss in the Motherwell midfield.
- Blair Spittal supported the Well's strike duo. Jon Obika partnered Kevin van Veen in attack, and the Dutchman bagged a brace in the Highlands to hand the Well all three points the weekend before last.
- Rangers manager Michael Beale named just one change from the Gers’ impressive 4-1 victory at Easter Road against Hibernian before they cruised into the Scottish Cup semi-finals with a 3-0 victory over Raith Rovers at Ibrox.
- John Lundstram replaced Ryan Jack to accompany Nicolas Raskin in the midfield duo in front of the unchanged back four. Scott Arfield came off the bench to score and is pushing for a start in this one.
- Ryan Kent and Fashion Sakala - who scored against Hibs at Easter Road - continued on the flanks with Todd Cantwell playing centrally. Antonio Colak bagged a brace in Edinburgh but didn't net against Raith Rovers.
