fulham good setup defensively, frustrated city that werent able to easily break through with their passing without kdb. fulham relatively nonexistent going forward however, except 1 sequence of good direct passes (the goal). seemed out of ideas and courage to take city fullbacks on 1v1, and no space to string passes around them as they crowded the wing. once more we see citys great tactical setup too in defense therefore. on the other hand, city did seem careless, overconfident or at least tired facing this opponent, specifically i would mention akanji that seemed to pass carelessly at times unlike his usual ruthless self. in any case city seemingly with no motivation did indeed still execute what it looks like they thought they would get from the first minute which is getting 3 points. great performance from kyle walker, a true swiss knife solid attack+defense in that match with his going forward too & long diagonals. dias solid as always, alvarez great goal, haaland weak jumping tbh
I’m surprised they don’t rest more than just KDB. Silva and Foden can’t be sharp right now playing in drips and drabs. You have too much class on the bench in Silva and I’m sure Foden’s confidence is Shiite. And anyone remember 2016 when Stones first came over how overpaid and overrated everyone pretended he was? That went away quick AF.
@jackmurray66 i agree, i believe silva was being rested though, pep will def be looking to use his technical ability / playstyle vs madrid. as for the rest i think its a sign the coach doesnt trust the replacements enough, or values the starters way more, and this is an important tie in the title race after all
@Socio4Life Hopefully you’re still in the cafe or maybe have a teacher read this for you in the morning. Make sure your homework is completed! It’s not hard Socio this was called an “opinion.” But you will figure it out once you get to big boy school I promise. Truly I’m so happy they allow special needs fans to interact, very cool. You are a special boy Socio, don’t let your father’s absence bother you. Sometimes adults type things special boys like you won’t understand and that is ok. Sometimes smarter grown ups don’t form the clearest sentences in random forums, but you can politely get the gist of the idea and if your Mom paid the bills you can even respond with your opinions. Now I didn’t re-read my comment Socio, but I stand by my central thought: I am a fan of both Foden and Silva, and I believe they should get more burn than the ~15 mins they received today. Thanks for stopping by and further proving the accuracy of Dunning-Kruger’s hypothesis.
Congrats to Arsenal!

Guardiola and City are not going to waste away this opportunity to go for ever on top. An easy win for City.
This should be a gane that gives gunners hope to the Tittle
this is the game that will out city back at the top, 5-1 city
Man City have won 9 of their 10 away games against teams outside the top 8.
