Team News

Chelsea
Liverpool
  • Jorginho is available to face Liverpool on Tuesday night, as Premier League suspensions triggered by accumulated yellow cards do not apply to domestic cups. He will start here as a result.
  • Frank Lampard looks set to be without Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi for the welcome of Liverpool on Tuesday night.
  • Ruben Loftus-Cheek is expected to make his long-awaited return from injury on Tuesday night but likely from the bench.
  • Kepa has been demoted as Chelsea's first-choice goalkeeper in league and Europe but should get a chance to impress here.
  • Antonio Rudiger was dropped against Bournemouth and will hope to return here.
  • Jordan Henderson was a huge miss in Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Watford but Liverpool's captain remains sidelined here.
  • Joe Gomez and James Milner are available again after missing out at the weekend through injury.
  • Dejan Lovren played poorly in Gomez's place against Watford and will certainly miss out here.
  • Curtis Jones has been hugely impressive in previous rounds of the FA Cup and will hope to start for the away side.
  • Pedro Chirivella is hoping to get a chance to impress at Stamford Bridge, but Harvey Elliot won't feature.

Prediction

  • Chelsea have won only two of their last eight matches in all competitions after Saturday's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. They have lost two of their last three at Stamford Bridge and have failed to score five times in their last 11 on home soil.
  • Liverpool suffered their first league defeat of the season at the weekend after being hammered 3-0 away to strugglers Watford. Liverpool haven't lost two matches in a row without scoring since 2014.
  • Chelsea have scored exactly once in each of their last seven home games against Liverpool. Klopp's side are favourites but it will be interesting to see how they react to Saturday's defeat, having recently lost to Atletico Madrid without scoring too.

  • @splint3r WE ARE THE PRIDE OF LONDON!

  • Arrizabalaga finally Kepa clean sheet.

  • Adrian = Karius

  • @GioMonaldo Spanish version of Karius :D

  • 2-0 but should have been at least 4-0 , downfall of Flopp army has begin....

  • @stefanm World and European Champions

  • @newoxet first UCL title in 15 years and first PL title in 30 years , now tell me how much titles has Real madrid won in champions and in league in last 30 years , i will tell you, much much more than your loserpool fc

  • @newoxet No one gave a single F about IWC until Liverpool won it, you're that desperate. Anyway, congratulations for winning your first PL with most points, even though you won't get a golden cup or anything special for that.

  • @stefanm not as bad as losing to Levante

  • @newoxet u just lost to Watford who is worse than Levante mate. while we won vs Barcelona.

  • @stefanm Barcelona? Who’s that?

  • @newoxet Sarr Ismailang from last week

  • Ouch Liverpool, That 2-0 goal was heavy. Now Pool has to score 3 goals to win and I don't see them doing that. Chelsea will win this.

  • Even though Chelsea is playing well, they just scored a lucky goal and surely Liverpool will punish them in the second-half. They should've scored the 2nd goal when they had chance. 1-2 FT

  • @Byakuya haahahaahahahahaha

  • @Byakuya HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

  • @splint3r Nowhere to be seen before the game and suddenly appears to reply people who made comments ''during'' game, welcome genius. I'm not even a Liverpool fan and happy with their lose but Klopp was late to made changes and that's why he lost. I don't know what he expected while Chelsea was pressuring on them. I already said Chelsea was playing well and first goal was pure error, you can't deny that.

  • Good to see Karius back :DDD

  • @stefanm Spain keeper lol

  • @newoxet He is just a Spanish Karius mate =D

  • @stefanm yep, Spanish keeper

  • passage Liverpool

  • Goaaaaaa, Chelseeeea!

  • @Patrikovic L

  • Forza Gilmour!

  • Both teams playing a clown in goal so plenty of goals :) Kepa for Chelsea and Adrian for Liverpool.

  • @nexus747 You were saying? (about Kepa)

  • Both sides will be resting players so i would wait for confirmation of team news and hour before kick-off if you are going to bet on this.OVER 2.5 Goals is @1.77 odds

  • Win for an exciting young team of Chelsea. Barkley to score.

  • 2-2 or 2-3

  • Chelsea's most important player tonight could be Kepa. The fact that he isn't playing I mean.

  • @Fromhell Switch to cricket, mate. You don't understand this game.

  • If he plays, he could be the most important player for Liverpool.

  • @Fromhell he will be Liverpool's key player

  • Over 2.5 goals

  • If Chelsea play sloppy again they will be schooled

  • liverpool is in really bad form, hard to predict this game, maybe 1:1 and chelsea to qualify after penalties

  • @Syriacus22 If Liverpool is in bad form what does that make Chelsea?

  • @Nico1 Winners.

  • Klopp is gonna field a much stronger team than that. Chelsea have to be at their best to stand a chance...

  • Don't understand why whoscored think Liverpool will name such a weak side? Ok they played weaker sides in previous rounds but the league is basically won now. They should focus more on the FA cup. I expect Minamino will start ahead of Elliott and Milner will start ahead of Chiravella. Curtis Jones should start though, he looks to be a really talented player.

  • @Nico1 Also Elliott is actually ineligible having played with the under 19's. So he will not play in this match

  • @Nico1 true Klopp said that Liverpool intend to advance, which essentially means playing a strong team.

  • 1-0 Giroud we all hope.

  • @stefanm do one

  • @newoxet quit cryin boi

  • @stefanm concentrate on your team who lost at home to man c

  • @newoxet 2-0 mate u just got destroyed by super frank lampard, should have been 4-0 , downfall has begin of flopps army

  • @stefanm gone out of a Mickey Mouse domestic cup competition with a weakened side, cool, still World and European current Champions FACT

  • @newoxet You are pathetic.

  • @splint3r you are envious

  • @newoxet Of what? Your tainted title? You can easily shove it up your a*ses!

  • @stefanm jerk off
