It is very likely Arsenal to start with back four with Chambers. And if Holding does not start and/or if they scored and leading it is highly likely Emery will switch to 5 at back.
6 of our 8 league goals conceded have come from mistakes by 3 players who can't help themself but jump in (Luiz 1 error and 2 penalties; Sokratis 1 error and 1 joint error; Xhaka 1 joint error and 1 penalty). I see no reason to believe that this trio will be anything other than liabilities going forward so, with that in mind, Chambers and Torreira have to start with a view to playing against Villa and every subsequent league game, injury permitting. Leno, Guendouzi and Aubameyang should be rested and I'd like to see us use a 4-3-3. One of Sokratis/Luiz will have to start because Mustafi is the only other option, so: Martinez, Maitland-Niles, Chambers, Sokratis, Kolašinac, Ceballos, Torreira, Willock, Martinelli, Pépé, Nelson. If we play that team, I would predict an Arsenal win but Emery has a way of naming strange lineups so it's anybody's guess. If Luiz plays, a draw is the best we can hope for.
@SteveHyland Aubameyang should be rested but emery cant rest him without laca there he would be facing more criticism and presser if we draw and lose plus we always mess up away in the PL but in Europa we tent to play better away
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Arsenal
Frankfurt cant score right now but they will against us we will just have to outscore them
1 If we stop playing it short in the box and play the ball wide to the Left back or right back we will have a better chance
2 stop the individual errors(xhaka,luiz,Sokratis)
3 pepe needs to be more forward-thinking and back his ability
arsenal win 2 -1
@ThekidEG- Agree. I would actually play Pépé in the 9 for this match in the hope he gets on the end of some chances. Scoring would boost his confidence and just help him settle. Also, resting Aubameyang is required.
Why do all of the Arsenal players have their mouths open in their photos? O_o
@Ausp haha wtf
