Just looking at this nayern lineup makes me think this team can achieve greatness. The most worysome position is actualy neuer wich shows how much depth this team has.
Bayern is made GREAT AGAIN. If only they have centarforward for big european matches, Lewa is good for domestic matches.
@Patrikovic He didn't convert much though but enough
@Patrikovic yup, Lewandowski is only the 4th scorer of all time when it comes to scoring in the knockout stages of the CL, shame :(
@wilde besides that 4 goals that he scored against madrid when he was playing for DORTMUND, he has not scored decisive goals, he was playing alibi games, rolling on the grass When he is expected to bring victory for Bayern, he is nowhere
@Patrikovic Never use that "great again"stick AGAIN. No one here in is a fan of that small hand orangutan unless you're like those Brexit fangirls. Well they love their country to be dependent on Murica especially on foreign policy. Besides that tiny hand orangutan is the most hated primate as of right now in Germany. Which is an amazing fact in itself.
@Ffaris another one with Trump derangement syndrome... if killary won we would all be in some war so please chill. Did you ever see US peaceful as they are under Trump leadership? I didn't... also stop elevating yourself to community spokepearson.
@Ffaris i like Darwin, but I am also for Brexit. What is Murica?
@Patrikovic what the heck Darwin has that do with that tiny hand orange Buffon? Yeah sure you can be for Brexit my croatian/Serbian chum whatever you are. Strange you're for Brexit though-I got no problem with that. What's Murica? Oh that's name of Inkland Boss who directs England foreign policy as she is highly dependent on US trade thanks to impeding Brexit cancelling all of her trade deals with the rest of the WORLD. No hyperbole being used here. So now England has to lick Murican boot. Because she is DEPNEDING upon American trade deal and is willing to make some very UNCOMFORTABLE compromises for it. See recent oil tanker confiscation on middle east for further readings.
I'm McLovin it. Not only scoreline but Kovac willingness to use his deep deep bench. He just needs to substitute injury prone Coman now in order to protect him.
I don't know why Brazzo/H.Salihamidizic is so much maligned by both English and German fanbase of B.Munich. He brought Fiete Arp. He brought Persic on a cheap deal, He convinced Coutinho. Thereby strengthening Bayern bench especially on the wings. They got 3 winger and 2 attacking mf on their bench now. Of course Brazzo failed in bringing in Leroy Sane and that's what earned him B.Munchen fans ire. I have never understood the logic behind Sane transfer. Sure he's talented. Is he better than both Gnarby and Coman? Is buying Sane more important than benching and wasting talents of either Gnarby and Coman? The answer is a clear no. He ain't coming any cheap. Even 80 million quids would be a bargain. The only thing I have against Brazzo is that he failed to convince Werner. But than again Werner could have stalled Fiete Arp development. I beleive Brazzo really did well here. The only one who deserves greater scrutiny not ire is Kovac.
@Ffaris For a team that aims high in all competitions (European and domestic) you need a bigger team. As for Coman he is unfortunately prone to injuries so you never know. Bayern now seems very well covered on the winger positions but remember that it was very thin there just a few weeks ago before Perisic and Coutinho were brought in so bringing Sane in at that time made perfect sense. Also Kovac is doing a very good job so I don't see what scrutiny he deserves...just looking at last year and the team he had and still managed to win double with probably weakest Bayern lineup in the last decade or so.
@moo13 Yeah it was thin few weeks ago. That's no longer a case. 4 wingers Alophonse Davies included. And 2 versatile attacking midfielders who can moonglight as wingers. For this Brazzo deserves a tap on his back not the constant fans' attack for stupid reason. But Bayern fansbase both English speaking and native Bavarian hate the guys guts for not bringing Sane to Bavaria. Why the obsession over Sane in the first place. Is he a game changer like Messi? No. Does he have marketing appeal of Neymar, Ronaldo or Greizmann, James Rodriguez or even Coutinho? No. Than bloody heck why the Bayern fanbase and the board are so obsessed with him? I'm suspecting the only reason is that he's a talented German winger. He ain't coming cheap too. So what's the point. The reason I said Kovac need to be scrutinized (san ire) was because if Bayern craps in Europe again he needs to be answerable for that. And that Berlin performance too.
@ whoscored ____ Not once has Bayern played in the above mentioned 3-4-2-1 formation. Why do you think they would start like that on Saturday ? Also Gnabry has been their best offensive player next to Lewandowski. He won't sit on the bench ...
@neumi17 well, he is on the bench
@wilde Yes, because he is injured ...
@neumi17 oh, I didn't know it
4-0 Munich.
